Arya Mahila PG College was admitted to the privileges of Banaras Hindu University way back in 1956.It was a dream envisioned by its by its founders Smt. VidyaDevi Ji and Swami Gyananand Ji.The guiding principle of the college remains the empowerment of the girl child through holistic education. The college can boast of being a center of excellence in academic as well as co-curricular activities. Arya Mahila PG College endeavors to promote the welfare of girl child in all round development. The motto of the college is ’Vision & Mission’ which we strive to uphold.
As the Principal of this esteemed institution, I take great pride in humbly dedicating my services in taking the college to greater heights.

WELCOME TO ARYA MAHILA P.G. COLLEGE, Chetganj, Varanasi 

With an objective to educate and uplift women, Arya Mahila Hitkarini Mahaparishad was established by Bharat Dharm Mahamandal. At present four educational institutions namely Arya Mahila P.G. College, Arya Mahila Inter College, Arya Mahila Nagarmal Murarka Model School and Vidya Devi B.D. Somani Arya Mahila Vocational Training Centre are run by Arya Mahila Hitkarini Mahaparishad.

The goals and objectives of the institution as stated in the resolution of Arya Mahila Hitkarini Mahaparishad are -to educate women ,to impart value education for building the value oriented personality, to make women, self-reliant, to work for their all round development and empowerment of women.

Neither women folk nor Nation can really progress until all the girls are properly educated. We seek the cooperation of all in our Institution’s goal and pledge to realize the blissful moments of women empowerment.
